The importance of the California Delta Conveyance Project for future reliability:

 Sarah has been on the Board of Directors for Zone 7 Water Agency since 2006. She is active in the Association of California Water Agencies where she is Vice-Chair of the Water Quality Committee. She is also Vice-President of the Delta Conveyance Design and Construction Joint Powers Board of Directors and is Chair of the Delta Conveyance Stakeholders Engagement Committee. Sarah has a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Cell Physiology, has worked in cancer research, the medical diagnostics industry, and taught science from high school to graduate levels and conducts workshops in STEM education  with the American Association of University Women.
