The Firefighter Preparation Workshop series will introduce fire service practices and processes to anyone interested in a fire service career. The workshops are open to the public, and no registration is required. The workshops will help to prepare individuals interested in a fire service career and explain the different components of the hiring process for Firefighter Recruits, including an overall introduction to the fire service and preparation for the written test, physical agility test, and interviews. Information will be specific to the Alameda County Fire Department (ACFD) but may be beneficial for anyone interested in a career in the fire service.
