International Service

Lee joined Rotary in 2004 and is currently our RC of Dublin's International Service Chair and Club Trainer. In 2010, Lee changed the Constitution of Rotary International when she authored the legislation that created Youth Service, the Fifth Avenue of Service. She has an extensive involvement with Rotary and has served as Rotary Club President of the Fremont-Union City-Newark (F.U.N.) Sunset RC (2009-2010), Vice-President, then President of RC of Dublin Foundation (2014-2018), District 5170 Youth Service Chair, D-5170 Vocational Service Chair (4 years), District Coordinator, Global Networking Groups (10 years) and Member, District Advisor for Interact and Rotaract (5 years). Additionally, Lee was the Global Chair for the International Fellowship of Rotarian Musicians (IFRM) from 2010-2020) and Secretary-Treasurer of IFRM, Inc., a foundation that funds global programs to extend music literacy (2007-present). She is  completing 58 years in education as a teacher, central office administrator, and retired University Professor. She loves to travel and has attended 17 Rotary International Conventions; she is also a Certified Travel Agent! Lee led the International Team in the development of the global grant that she will tell us about today: RACHEL 3: A Digital Literacy Project in Solola, Guatemala.
