Terilyn Finders provides strategic and crisis communications counsel to the firm's clients when legal matters trigger community and media questions or concerns. She works closely with education associations, and oversees the creation/implementation of collaborative programs designed to meet education professionals' needs, including online training and student scholarship programs.

Terilyn received her BA in Journalism in 1981 from San Jose State University. She has been a communications consultant where she provided freelance assistance on strategic communications plans and writing projects for Con Agra Grocery Products, Durkee-French Foods, Henry Wong Marketing Consultancy, Boys and Girls Clubs of America, and California Teacher Training Programs (BTSA).

She was also the manager of Public Relations for Best Foods, Inc. where she Managed all media relations, medical and health marketing and targeted communications for brands including Best Foods, Mazola, Thomas English Muffins, Skippy Peanut Butter and Knorr. She also worked with the USDA on numerous food/tampering scares.

Terilyn also served two four-year terms on the Board of Education in the Las Virgenes Unified School District. She was twice elected to create and monitor education policy,  and helped set the vision and direction for a high-achieving school district that serves approximately 12,000 students.She was also a member of California's Blue Ribbon Legislative Commission on Autism where she helped lead the charge to establish the state’s Autism Information and Training Center.
