Coaniquem

I  grew up in rural Saskatchewan. I started college as a music major, but decided to try journalism instead. I moved to Ottawa, Ontario and graduated from Carleton University. After working for the Canadian government for a few years, I took an assignment to Belize on an AID project. I spent three years there, living in Belize City, where there was water but no sewerage sanitation system.  The project was intended to correct that!

I met and married Pat Coyle during that time. We moved to the US in 1978. I became a U.S. citizen in 1982 and have lived and worked on both coasts and places in between.

I have lived in Livermore for the nearly years. I joined Rotary in 2000 and have enjoyed every minute of it. I was President of my club 2018-19 and  will be a Lieutenant Governor for Richard Flanders in 2021-22.

I became friends with the COANIQUEM group  15  years ago and have been an active fundraiser for our organization, joining the Board in 2016.

Children’s issues are a passion for me.  I was President of CAPE Head Start, for 11 years, was one of the Founder of the Tri-Valley Youth Court, and am Past President of the Pedrozzi Foundation Board.
