City of Dublin Capital Improvement Projects

 

Michael N. Boitnott, P.E. is the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Manager for the City of Dublin. Michael has worked in the industry for over 27 years and is passionate about building high quality projects to be enjoyed by both residents and end users. He is a California licensed Civil Engineer and General Building Contractor and member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Public Works Association. For the past four and half years, he managed the design and construction of Dublin’s Capital Improvement Program. Dublin CIP projects range from street resurfacing to major roadway widening, building new and renovating existing parks, installing storm drainage systems, the construction of new facilities and renovation of existing buildings, and managing improvements to the City’s communications infrastructure. He was the Project Manager for the recently completed Dublin Public Safety Complex, which was certified LEED Platinum and won both the American Public Works Association NorCal project of the year and the National American Public Works Association project of the year for structures costing more than $5 million and less than $25 million. In his spare time, Michael enjoys traveling Europe, home improvement, and backyard BBQ cooking. He currently lives in Milpitas with his wife and two children.
