Arf and Vets and Pets

Stewart Proctor was born in Nebraska, and raised in Southern California. He’s lived in Danville since 1990 and raised three children with his wife there. Stewart holds a BA from UC Santa Barbara, a PhD in clinical psychology from Indiana U, and an MBA from Saint Mary’s College. Stewart retired as the Service Director for the Permanente Medical Group of Northern California.

Stewart began volunteering for Tony La Russa's Animal Rescue Foundation, ARF,  in 2009, facilitating over 750 adoptions since he began. He helps out as an onsite tour guide and an ARF guest speaker. In 2017 he was named their Community Leader of the Year.

When not volunteering Stewart enjoys Pickleball, Cycling and hiking, and traveling.
